Responsibilities
· Grow new sales both national and regional through cold calling and tradeshows
· Develop, present, and implement marketing plans for new customers with VP of Sales
· Establishes and maintains multiple levels of relationships within each customer in order to identify needs and opportunities as well as to provide selling solutions
· Collaborate internally with Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, and Research and Development functions
· Consult with management and provide timely information and reports on retail sales activities, issues, trends, market changes, competitive developments, and other critical matters
· Limited traveling to meet new and potential customers
Requirements
· Candidate must have food and beverage industry experience
· Candidate must have sold either branded items or private label products to distributors and multi-unit chains.
· BA or BS degree preferred. Sales and Marketing concentration preferred
· Creative, aggressive, customer driven, and results oriented
· Proactive and entrepreneurial
· Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent reading, writing and presentation skills

· Must be professional, honest, trustworthy, and have commitment to customer satisfaction
· Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
· Ability to work with all levels of management and develop lasting customer relationships
· Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
· Assist with sales forecast on assigned accounts for purchasing and operations team
· Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
· High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
