Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planner/Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing production schedules to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of products. You will collaborate with various departments, including supply chain, quality control, and plant management, to enhance production processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels.
Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
Monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
Coordinate with plant management to align production capabilities with scheduling needs.
Utilize lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
Analyze data related to production performance and quality control metrics.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to address scheduling conflicts or changes.
Prepare reports on production efficiency and recommend strategies for improvement.
Skills/ Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management
1-3 years of experience in a similar role
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
Experience in production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of quality control processes and systems.
Ability to analyze data for process improvement initiatives.
Familiarity with supply chain management concepts.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in using scheduling software and other relevant tools.
